Recitals
We hold an annual Spring Recital in June. Every class prepares a unique routine to showcase during the Recital. This event is eagerly anticipated by both our dancers and instructors. Each class will wear a costume carefully selected by their instructor.
"Imagination in Motion" 2026!" Recitals were held June 4, 5, and 6, 2026

Picture Day

Arrival & Participation-Be Early:
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes early to your scheduled time slot to ensure your dancer is ready for their group photo.
-Photo Ready: All dancers must arrive in full costume with hair and makeup done, wearing the correct color tights and shoes.
-Strict Scheduling: We run on a strict schedule and cannot retake group photos if a dancer misses their assigned time.
-Individual Shots: If your dancer cannot attend their group time slot, individual photos can be taken throughout the day at any location.
-Purchasing: You can conveniently purchase these dance memories during the recital dress rehearsal. Costume Care & Appearance-To ensure every dancer looks their best, please follow these guidelines:
-Handling: Hang your costume immediately upon receiving it. Do not wear it outside of designated fittings or the recital.
-Cleaning: Costumes should not be washed in a washing machine.
-Tutu Care: If your costume has a tutu, hang it upside down by the crotch to help it regain its fullness and release wrinkles.
-Tights & Shoes: All dancers must wear Capezio Ultrasoft tights. Please refer to the attached list for the specific tight and shoe colors required for your dancer's class

The "Extras": Dancers may not wear jewelry, nail polish, or underwear (tights have a built-in lining, and underwear will show under the leotard).
Makeup: While not mandatory, we strongly encourage at least blush/bronzer, mascara, and lipstick so features are not washed out by bright lights.
Hair Requirements:Hair must be pulled back into a professional ballet bun with a part over the left eye. This is the required hairstyle for both Picture
Day and the Recital/Dress Rehearsal. We have attached detailed instructions and a video below—remember, practice makes perfect!

We haven't forgotten about our gentlemen! Since male costumes and grooming requirements vary significantly by dance style and class, the standard bun and tutu instructions do not apply.
Guidance: Please speak directly with your dancer's instructor for specific guidance on how they would like their hair styled for photos.
Costume Coordination: Your instructor will also provide details on what specific items (such as socks or undershirts) should be worn with their costume.
Shoes & Tights: Please refer to the attached class list to confirm the required footwear for their specific routine.
Important Note: If a dancer is unable to attend their scheduled location’s date, they are welcome to attend one of the other two locations to ensure they still get their individual photos taken.
Photos will be taken at each respective location and will be ready for purchase at dress rehearsals!
